Jordan is what I would call a location-bound recruiter, which means he is looking for candidates local to his area. This is a great perspective to have on the podcast for those who want to apply for local positions. While a lot of the strategies are similar, there are some nuances - such as the lack of an applicant tracking system.

About Jordan:
With aspirations of becoming a professional basketball player at a young age, Jordan quickly learned that your career isn't always what you expect it to be. This realization is what lead him into a career focused on helping people figure out what they want to do and helping them achieve it. As a double master in educational leadership and MBA, Jordan started his career in advising and career development where he worked with students and alumni helping them figure out their future. Recently, Jordan made the jump to the recruiting side and has been leading the recruiting efforts for a Northwestern Mutual office in the greater Chicago area.
