Simo Rodriguez is a Personal Trainer and Coach that helps women find their FIT and what truly works for them. If fitness has been a barrier for you, this episode will give you practical and simple steps to get started wherever you are on the journey. We discuss in depth what it means to be realistic, be flexible, and be committed when it comes to fitness.

While this episode can apply to men generally, the conversation is geared toward women and specific barriers and mindsets that we create for ourselves because of internal and external pressure.

There is a focus on busy professionals and finding the time to work out, the time myths we tell ourselves, and the stories we make up about the "right" way to approach fitness.

Simo has an extremely practical view when it comes to fitness. As a previous client, I share my experience with her style, why it was so helpful, and some of the barriers she helped me cross in my fitness journey.

Actions:
  • Be realistic
  • Be flexible
  • Be committed
