About Cheryl Petersen Pine:
Cheryl is a dynamic and innovative leader with more than 25 years nonprofit leadership experience. She returned to school in 2016 and has an EMBA from Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, is recipient of the 2018 Drucker Leadership Award and has certificates in Leadership and Strategy from CGU, Nonprofit Management from Duke University, Federal Grants Management and is a certified LEAN Agent.
Currently, she is chief financial officer for East Valley Community Health Center, a federally qualified health center with several clinics in Southern California. Her previous experience includes senior finance executive for Los Angeles Conservation Corps and numerous educational and arts institutions, including the Loma Linda Veterans Association for Research and Education and the Southwest Museum in Los Angeles.
Strategic thinker, thought leader, and experienced public speaker and lecturer who has facilitated graduate-level courses in leadership and given professional presentations on engagement, reinforcing frontline staff, resilient teams, positive leadership, improving transparency, nonprofit management and best practices.
