Megan Metcalf is ambitious and confident. She knew right out of college that she wanted to be great at whatever career came her way.
She took a chance at a career fair and landed in Sales for a Regional Location of the Toshiba Corporation. Fast forward a few years and after a few career shifts, she was asked to come back to Toshiba as their National Sales Training Advisor.
Our conversation spanned many topics including the bad rap that the sales functional area gets, the benefits of having a sales position early in your career, the flexibility of a sales position when you excel, and overall - the importance of having a good work ethic in anything you do.
Confidence in your career, interview process, and job search are other conversations we dig into in this interview. Megan shared her perspective and specific experiences in her career journey that led to being asked to come work for Toshiba.
